Who Qualifies for
This Support?
In Minnesota, eligibility is often determined through a combination of your health needs and program-specific criteria.
- Adults age 18 or older.
- Must be enrolled in a qualifying Minnesota waiver (EW, AC, CADI, BI).
- Must require non-medical supervision or social support to remain in the community.
- Generally for individuals who do not need intensive physical hands-on care during the companion's visit.
